Our trip within the Sacred Valley is designed to ensure the perfect combination of active exploration balanced with generous personal time to allow you to relax and integrate your experiences.
The depth of experience you’ll receive on this trip is anchored in Ashera’s own connection with the people and the land. Her intimate relationship with the healing lineage of the Andes creates the opportunity for you to have your own intimate, unique, and life changing journey.
Many of the sites we will visit are off the beaten path. The powerful shamans and cuardera who accompany us are Ashera’s trusted friends and teachers. This truly is a trip like no other![spacer height=”10px”]

The temples of Peru are some of the oldest on Earth. The mountains and sacred sites here hold healing strength, creativity, and love.
Our visits to these sites will connect you with ancient wisdom and the mysteries that are anchored here within the Earth and within your own body.
These mystical places and their powerful portals will activate your deep inner knowing and remembrance. By connecting with the healing wisdom at each site you’ll connect in new ways to the same wisdom that you hold within.

Each site visit will include a guided initiation ceremony as well as personal time to explore and experience the site. As you merge with the stones, the waterfalls, the rivers, the majestic mountains, and the brilliant stars you will be reconnected with your own power and grace.

Traditional Ceremonies
Many of our personal ceremonies are led by the Q’ero shamans who will embrace you as family.
These wisdom keepers from the high Andes carry a healing lineage of thousands of years. Their teachings are filled with laughter and love and their healing medicine is designed to guide you back into balance with yourself and all of creation.
The Q’ero energetic rites, called the Karpays, are healing initiations that transmit light into your personal energy field. These Andean healing practices are integrated throughout the trip to support your journey and help you anchor what you are receiving so that you can take these gifts with you when you return home.[spacer height=”20px”]
A 
Hauchuma plant medicine ceremony will connect you to your home within, your home in the world of Nature, and the beauty of the Earth. Through the heart-opening experience you’ll also be able to let go of what no longer serves you.
The loving heart teachings you receive from Hauchuma and the Earth will be completely personal and unique to you. This daytime ceremony in the pristine mountains is a beautiful upriver hike from our retreat center. The day ends with a sacred fire ceremony.[spacer height=”20px”]
Full Moon Celebration
The eighth day of our trip falls on a powerful Full Moon. On this day we will travel to Quillarumiyoc, the Temple of the Moon, for a special Full Moon initiation.
Here we will hold a ceremony to enable you to make a new connection to your light body and receive new realizations of the power you hold to heal and bring light to our world.
In the evening we’ll have a special Thanksgiving celebration dinner, followed by a Full Moon fire ceremony in order to anchor the gifts we each received.
You will carry these Full Moon activations home with you, and every Full Moon moving forward in your life will hold a new type of momentum and joy.
Other Highlights
There will be many opportunities throughout the trip to connect with the wonderful people of Peru.
One favorite destination is the market in the beautiful town of Pisac, where you’ll have time to explore and shop before we share a wonderful dinner in a local restaurant.

Special Add-On Trip to Machu Picchu
The optional additional portion of our trip enables you to experience a personal sunrise initiation at Machu Picchu, the Crystal City of the Andes.
Throughout our day we’ll receive hidden insights to the city from our Peruvian guide. there will also be ample time for individual exploration.
We end our journey in the beautiful town of Ollantaytambo. This final day of integration includes a visit to the Incan Temple of the Sun.

This journey is designed to ensure that you receive the support you need in order to anchor your experience.
Our schedule includes ample time for private reflection, including opportunities each day to be outside on the land. Daily circles will allow for group exploration and dialogue as well as energetic healing. You’ll also have the option to schedule private massage and energy sessions during several of our afternoons.
Ashera and Elizabeth are both experienced energy medicine practitioners and they will be available throughout the trip to offer personal guidance, support and insight into your experiences.
Our Lodging
Sach’a Munay Retreat Center is in the Sacred Valley near the small village of Arin, about an hour and a half from Cusco. Located at the base of a stunning waterfall and the powerful mountains of Pitisuri and Sawasiray, this incredible oasis supports your connection to the land and its liquid light energy.
The private bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. Accomodations for this trip are double occupancy. Single occupancy upgrades are possible based on availability.
Sach’a Munay is a non-profit and all proceeds here go toward projects in the local villages.
Our Meals
Three delicious organic meals will be served daily. Our meals are served fresh, farm to table, from organic produce grown directly on the land.
Meals at the retreat center are vegetarian, with fish options available. The center is happy to accommodate your dietary requests. We will also have special restaurant dinners when you’ll have the opportunity for additional menu choices.

About Your Guides

Ashera Serfaty
Ashera Serfaty is a Shamanic Energy Medicine Healer, Advanced Theta Practitioner, Yoga and Ayurvedic Practitioner and Dancer. Ashera trained in Peruvian Energy Medicine and Shamanic Healing thru The Healing Light Body School with Alberto Villoldo, and the Toltec Shamanic traditions with Dona Bernadina Vigil.
Ashera’s journeys have taken her to sacred sites in Mexico and Peru, where she learned directly from local indigenous healers and shamans. She is a full Mesa carrier in the Peruvian Q’ero tradition and has received the sacred rite transmissions from the Q’ero shamans from the Andes.

Elizabeth Schermer
Elizabeth Schermer is the founder of the Alchemy Mystery School. She is a gifted energy healer, teacher and guide who is committed to supporting others on their highest path of purpose.
Elizabeth has personally experienced the benefits of travel to sacred sites. Her personal pilgrimages to Egypt, Nepal and Peru have been instrumental in reconnecting her with her lineage as a healer, and given her the tools she needed to move forward on her path of purpose.
Elizabeth is inspired now to offer these life-changing opportunities to others by facilitating small group journeys to the sacred sites. This will be our first trip to Peru as a Mystery School community.
The Q’ero Wisdom Keepers
The Q’ero are considered the wisdom keepers from the high Andes. These beautiful healers embody the true essence of love as they share and transmit their healing and message.
The Q’ero are the direct descendants of the Inca, who, 500 years ago, fled to the safety of the sacred mountains to escape the Spanish Conquistadors. They fled and made their villages in the clouds at 14,000 ft. Fortunately, the Spanish failed to find them there.
The Inca Master Shamans were considered the “Wisdom Keepers”. Their oral tradition preserved the ancient healing methods, rituals and the prophecies for the future of human beings and the planet. This knowledge has remained uncontaminated for thousands of years.
The Q’ero understood that there would be a time when the world needed to remember the ancient wisdom. At this time, they would come down from their lofty hiding place to spread their knowledge. The time is now. With their infinite graciousness they are offering this knowledge to all of us with their most open hearts. During our journey we will mostly work with Don Basillio, Dona Sabina & Dona Santusa, although we may work with others as well.
Curandera Vilma Pinedo
Vilma Pinedo comes from a long line of healers from the Andes mountains of Peru. Vilma’s grandparents are renowned shamans, and she was called to this path before she was born, when lightning struck her mother while pregnant with Vilma.
Vilma grew up surrounded by master healers and began her path as a curandera (healer) at the age of 12, reading coca leaves and using her intuition to tell people how to heal themselves, often with amazing results.
Vilma learned English ( a rarity in the Andes) and was one of the people asked to accompany the Dalai Lama to Machu Picchu. She uses her gifts to contribute peace, healing and unity to our world.
