Happy Summer!
I hope this message finds you well. It’s been a while since I’ve written. My life has been full of new creation and many blessings. I’m happy to connect with you now on this beautiful morning to share some of my reflections and personal intentions for the coming days.
Every season holds a particular opportunity, connected with nature’s cycles and the energies of the Sun.
Summer is the prime season for rejuvenation. This is a time to recharge our batteries, to restore vitality and our Spirit’s natural connection to joy and eagerness for life.
The more we can live in harmony with the natural cycles of nature, the more we can receive the benefits.
Welcoming Summer
The Sun gives us life. Her Light is filled with the pure frequencies of Source energy. During the weeks of summer while she is at her peak of radiance, we can receive powerful infusions of vitality and rejuvenating life force energy.
All of nature is thriving in this abundance and it’s available for us now, too.
Summer is a time to slow down, be in our bodies, and pay attention to the present moment so we can receive the energies of creative vitality, eagerness and joy.
This is summer’s secret: The gifts of new life force and vitality surround you NOW, not in some future activity or scheduled event, but in your everyday ordinary life.
This is summer’s challenge: In the midst of our busy daily lives, how can we shift focus, make space, and connect with the opportunities for rejuvenation held now within each precious moments of each precious day?
Inner Voice Tarot
I love using cards as a way to dialogue directly with the wisdom of my Spirit. I pulled the following spread, asking for practical ways to understand how to better receive the potentials that are available.
My Question:
“What are the peak opportunities available to us now during the season of summer? How can we more fully receive these energies?”

The Overall THEME: The King of Fire, “The Creator”.
In this card we see how the King of Fire’s creativity radiates from his fully activated solar plexus, his ‘inner Sun’. Creativity is not a product; it is the natural, joyful expression of life itself.
YOU are the King of Fire in this spread. Creativity is the experience of life expressed through you.
The message here is to use this season to nourish your vitality. Like the King of Fire, your inner sun is your power center, your connection to self-confidence, vitality, optimism and joy.
This is the peak time of year for fueling your inner sun. Breathe from your abdomen and feel the Sun expand within.

The Page (Princess) of Rainbows represents the pure adventurous Spirit of your inner child. She is standing in a rainbow of light, representing her ability to trust her Spirit, and her eagerness to experience the adventure of each moment.
In the position of Body & Circumstances, the message here is to release the past and stay present to what is possible. Every step is new.
Open your heart and pay attention to this moment. This card reminds you that adventure can come to you anywhere you are. What does THIS moment hold?!
The Position of HEART: The Page of Fire, “Playfulness”.
The Page (Princess) of Fire represents the spontaneous playfulness of your Spirit. In the position of Heart & Awareness the message here is, very simply, to allow yourself to play. Let go of being serious. Playfulness is an approach to life.
In the position of Heart and Awareness, this card encourages you to bring a playful approach to all of life. Your Spirit is naturally playful, here and now, as a child.
What does your playful Spirit want express? How can you shift your focus and simplify your life to make more room for play?
The Position of SPIRIT: The 8 of Rainbows, “Ordinariness”.
Rainbow cards are the suit of earth energy, and this card represents the earthy beauty of the ordinary moments of daily life.
In the position of Spirit, this card reminds you that your Spirit only lives in the present moment. All of the gifts of summer are available to you in the simple ‘ordinary’ activities of each day.
Every moment is sacred. Let go of expectations. Take things easy, come present into your body, and live fully one beautiful step at a time.
Summary
The overall message of this spread is that the current opportunity for rejuvenation and vitality comes in very practical ways in daily life. Not in future plans or expectations, but in every moment of each day.
How can you use your creative self-discipline to show up with playfulness and adventure, no matter the mundane activity of the moment?
Your Spirit LOVES the adventure of each moment. The more you can be present in your body, the more you can experience your Spirit’s natural ability to create something new within the ordinary moments of life.
Rejuvenate Your Spirit & Nourish Your Joy
In the midst of our full lives, it can be a challenge to step out of busy habits and routines, including our ideas of what summer is ‘supposed to be’, so we can fully experience the precious vitality of each and every summer day.
The secret of summer well-lived is in remembering that the opportunities for vitality and joy are held in each present moment; not in future plans, or expectations of what summer is ‘supposed to be’, but here and now.
Above all else, you have the opportunity right now to pause, slow down, take a breath and return to your heart. In this way you can intentionally expand into the joyful vitality of summer’s Light.
- Step One: Show up. Take a breath and return to the present. Remember that your Spirit only lives here and now, in THIS ordinary present moment.
- Step Two: Breathe again. Move your awareness within. Call your Spirit back to your heart. (“Spirit within, move me to my heart.”)
- Step Three: Breathe again. Imagine you are breathing from your solar plexus. Feel your inner Sun expand. As you breathe, feel your Light growing within, radiating front and back just like the Sun. (“I now increase my Life Force energy.”)
The key is remembering that YOU are the Creator. Like the King of Fire, new vitality is here for you. Now.
Move to your heart and ask yourself, “What is possible here and now? How can I infuse playfulness and adventure into this ordinary moment? What do I want more of? What can I simplify or release?
I ask myself these questions many times a day. They help me feel curious to create something new.
My intention is to release old habits of ‘waiting for summer’ to happen during certain favorite activities. Instead I’m choosing to stay present, claim each moment, and fully receive the creative vitality that’s here for me now. (And, of course, I’m also planning some fun adventures. That’s part of the joy!)
I hope this message inspires you to be present to the gifts that summer holds. The more you can open your heart into the unlimited potential of this present moment the more vitality you’ll receive, and the more you’ll experience your Spirit’s capacity for rejuvenation, playfulness, adventure and joy.
