The Cancer New Moon and Solar Eclipse occurs on Saturday, June 20th at 11:41 pm PDT.
This year’s solstice is enormously powerful and brings huge new opportunity to our world.
The summer solstice is a time of blessing and illumination. The solstice energy anchors a new sense of your true self and how you truly belong to the world.
With the solar eclipse falling directly on the solstice at 1° Cancer, all of these potentials are amplified. We’re each receiving a new infusion of what it truly means to be an empowered individual.
This is creating enormous new potential and new momentum for positive change, for us as individuals and for the world.
The energy of Cancer is about fully embodying who you are, finding inner security, and feeling safe and at home in the world, so that you can fully explore your purpose and potential.
What has been previously hidden is now revealed, in order that you can make huge evolutionary leaps forward in your life. This is a future-oriented eclipse (north node), meaning that you can move forward in new directions. What you learn and experience now will open new avenues and reveal new visions of what is possible.
These new experiences of expressing your true individuality will unfold and flower over the coming season of summer.

The energy of Cancer is about fully embodying who you are, finding inner security, and feeling safe and at home in the world, so that you can fully explore your purpose and potential.

There’s another important symbol for the solstice eclipse. This is the Sabian archetype for 1° Cancer, which is: “The sailors on a ship at sea, lowering the old flag and raising a new one.”
The ‘ship at sea’ represents your consciousness and sense of Self, traveling the sea of life, using emotional intelligence and emotional power (the sea) as your guiding force.
‘Lowering the old flag and raising the new one’ represents the opportunity now to claim a new allegiance to yourself.
This is a time to celebrate all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you are bringing forward.
